Do I need both an accountant and a bookkeeper?
Most businesses will have both! Or your accountant will have an in-house bookkeeper that does the day to day bookkeeping, allowing them to report your management accounts to you.
We provide the same bookkeeping and reporting services, but with a more informed perspective of your business – saving you money by reducing your accountancy fees.
We then liaise with your accountant, if needed, with up to date informed reports, which will enable them to help you make informed business decisions and allowing you to use your time more productively.
So, we provide a collaborative service between yourselves, us as your bookkeeper and your accountant when needed.

How do we work?
We support your business with the provision of timely, cost effective bookkeeping services.
Can be at our offices or yours, with reporting meetings if needed.

How do we charge?
Our initial fees are hourly – to enable us to get to know your business and needs. You then have the option to move to our monthly fixed fee pricing.

What hours do you work and can you be contacted when not at our office?
Hours of business are 9-6 Monday to Friday, we are also contactable by email outside of working hours if a call back or information is needed.

What software do you use?
We have solid experience of the most popular packages, including Sage and Xero. We are also a pro-advisor for QuickBooks, and can offer competitive pricing for their software package.
We can also provide spreadsheet reporting.

How do you maintain our confidentiality?
Your confidentiality is paramount to us and we adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998.

Are you regulated?
We are regulated and governed by being a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. Which also includes supervision under the Money Laundering Regulations 2007. We also hold Professional Indemnity Insurance.

What type of businesses do you work with?
We work with a variety of businesses from a sole trader that needs guidance with their start up, support for your inhouse bookkeeping or we can provide full in-depth bookkeeping services to well established small businesses.

My accounts are not up to date and in a mess, can you help?
No problem! This is an area we pride ourselves on, we tackle the mess head on, sorting and computing the backlog and putting into place systems to relieve you of the headache.
